A specialised teaching in English
A multilingual professor, graduated architect-urban planner and experienced in leading urban planning workshops, will teach the students in English.
- In Master-1level, the teaching focuses on major international urban projects, works of art, landscape and transport (urban planning and landscape planning, 20 hours ETD, 3 hours ECTS).
- In Master-2 level, the teaching gets much closer into details around works of art, landscape and transport planning aspects, insisting on major international urban projects (urban planning and landscape planning, 20 hours ETD, 3 hours ECTS)
Un enseignant polyglotte, architecte-urbaniste de profession et expérimenté dans la conduite d'ateliers en urbanisme, formera les étudiants en anglais.
- En M1, l'enseignement est centré sur les grands projets urbains internationaux, les ouvrages d’art, le paysage et les transports (urban planning and landscape urbanism, 20 h ETD, 3 ECTS).
- En M2, l'enseignement revient sur les ouvrages d’art, le paysage et les transports. Il insiste cependant davantage sur les grands projets urbains internationaux, (urban planning and landscape urbanism, 20 h ETD, 3 ECTS).
An opening to the world
This teaching, is meant as an opening to the world treats architecture, engineering and landscape masterpieces, dealing with the major transitions that already are in process (urban resilience, renaturation of urban rivers in Western Europe and US , urban renewal operations in outlying districts, enhancement of 20th century heritage, urban densification, integration of health issues into the urban construction ...). If necessary, it will be completed by English seminars organised with US and/or northern European colleagues, and, why not ….? a possible traineeship abroad.
Cet enseignement d'ouverture sur le monde aborde les chefs d'oeuvre de l'architecture, de l'ingénierie et du paysage et traite les grandes transitions déjà en cours (résilience urbaine, renaturation des rivières urbaines en Europe occidentale et en Amérique du Nord, opérations de renouvellement urbain des quartiers périphériques, mise en valeur du patrimoine du XXème siècle, densification urbaine, intégration des problématique de santé dans la fabrique urbaine...). Il sera complété le cas échéant par des séminaires organisés avec des collègues nord américains, et, pourquoi pas ?, un stage à l'étranger.
